Catania Fontanarossa Airport
There is one airport in Catania, Italy, called Catania-Fontanarossa Airport (CTA).

- The bus service is called Alibus and picks up between Terminal A and Terminal C every 25 minutes, there is no Terminal B. There are multiple stops throughout the city.
- You can buy a ticket on board, at the AMTS ticket office, or online. Tickets are 4 eur and other information can be found on the AMTS website or the Catania airport site.
- The Train station is located 600 metres from Terminal A which can be reached by a pedestrian path or shuttle bus every 10 minutes.
- A Taxi ride takes approximately 10 minutes to city centre.
- Public transport to the conference venue is approximately 30 minutes and taxis approximately 20 minutes.

- Catania is well served by a dense network of bus routes. There are more than 50 bus lines and they cover every area of tourist interest.
- Catania has an underground Metro station, The cost of a ticket is 1 euro and is valid for 90 minutes from the time of validation. On-board purchase is also possible, but at an increased fare.
- The conference venue (University of Catania) is near the following metro stops
- Palazzo dell'Etna: The medical campus is on the metro line at the San Nullo stop.
- Main campus: The main campus is accessible by metro at the Milo stop.
- Campus entrance: The campus entrance is within walking distance of the Cittadella Ovest bus stop.
